THE NEW YORK ACADEMY OF TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY
The New York Academy of Traumatic Brain Injury, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary, not-for-profit organization chartered by New York State as an educational corporation dedicated to the traumatic brain injury (TBI) education and teamwork. We have members and faculty from across the United States, and we invite membership from those with expertise or interest in the field of TBI including:

- Psychologists/Neuropsychologists
- Nurse Practitioners
- Nurses
- Physical Therapists
- Occupational Therapists
- Speech and Language Pathologists
- Recreational Therapists
- Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors
- Social Workers and Case Managers
- Military and Government Personnel
- Research Scientists
- Administrators
Our primary activities to date have been professional education opportunities including annual full-day conferences at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, NYU Medical Center, and at Fordham University at Lincoln Center with CE credits for psychologists, CME for physicians, and credit for a variety of other professionals.
