THE NEW YORK ACADEMY OF TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY
The New York Academy of Traumatic Brain Injury, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary, not-for-profit organization chartered by New York State as an educational corporation dedicated to the traumatic brain injury (TBI) education and teamwork. We have members and faculty from across the United States, and we invite membership from those with expertise or interest in the field of TBI including:

- Psychologists/Neuropsychologists
- Nurse Practitioners
- Nurses
- Physical Therapists
- Occupational Therapists
- Speech and Language Pathologists
- Recreational Therapists
- Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors

Our primary activities to date have been professional education opportunities including annual 3-day conference and workshops at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and NYU Medical Center with CE credits for psychologists, CME for physicians, and credit for a variety of other professionals.We also offer annual conferences for caregivers, quartely newsletter, quarterly lectures and member blog site.
